All three rods are built on Major Craft's X-Custom blank construction, which layers 4-axis carbon and carbon tape to stiffen the butt against blank twist while keeping the overall weight manageable.
The lineup splits between a tubular-tip model (TCX-962STY, Fast action) and two solid-tip models (TCX-S832STY and TCX-S962STY, Extra Fast action); solid-tip variants improve bite detection and cushion the hook-set against tachiuo's soft mouth, while the tubular model handles slightly heavier tenya rigs.
