The Triple Cross Shore Tachiuo Tenya GINRYU (Silver Dragon) series serves shore anglers pursuing cutlassfish (tachiuo) with tenya rigs cast from rock and sandy shore marks. The series sits within Major Craft's mid-tier Triple Cross platform and is positioned for Japanese domestic shore tenya fishing, a discipline where precise bite detection and controlled drop speed are critical. All three rods are built on Major Craft's X-Custom blank construction, which layers 4-axis carbon and carbon tape to stiffen the butt against blank twist while keeping the overall weight manageable.
The lineup splits between a tubular-tip model (TCX-962STY, Fast action) and two solid-tip models (TCX-S832STY and TCX-S962STY, Extra Fast action); solid-tip variants improve bite detection and cushion the hook-set against tachiuo's soft mouth, while the tubular model handles slightly heavier tenya rigs. All models carry Fuji reel seats and SiC-insert guides. The series spans two lengths, 8'3" and 9'6", with all three in spinning configuration. The shorter solid-tip S832STY suits tighter rocky platforms or heavier current where a shorter lever helps control the drift; the two 9'6" rods cover open beach and wide reef casting.

All 3 modelsThe shortest model in the series at 8'3"; solid tip with Extra Fast action. Intended for confined ledge and rock platform fishing where a full 9'6" blank creates handling problems, or where heavier current requires a shorter lever to maintain tenya position.
Tubular-tip model with Fast action and a wider lure range (3–30g); handles heavier tenya rigs and provides more direct contact with the jig than the solid-tip variants. Suited to situations where feel through the blank is preferred over tip-flex bite detection.
Solid-tip 9'6" Extra Fast model; the principal workhorse of the series. Lure range 2–20g covers standard tenya weights. The solid tip visually telegraphs the soft drop-bite typical of cutlassfish before it registers in the angler's hand.
