Major Craft's 5G (second-highest) grade tairubber series, part of the Redback 5G (RB5) platform. Built for offshore boat fishing made for red sea bream (madai) with rubber jigs, covering both vertical drop (dotera style) and cast-and-retrieve approaches. The target angler is a dedicated tairubber practitioner fishing Japanese coastal and offshore grounds; this series is is available internationally through grey market channels. Not suitable for jigging or other offshore techniques.
Blanks use Toray T1100G nano carbon via Major Craft's R360 construction method, which suppresses twist and improves signal transmission. All models feature a high-sensitivity solid tip and regular-fast action, the action is intentionally soft through the belly to avoid ejecting light bites, letting the tip load under a strike without the fish feeling resistance. Bait models (B prefix) are baitcasting-style bay rods suited for vertical or drifted work; spinning models (S prefix) support underhand casting presentations.
Rod weights range 84–123g. Seven rods: four baitcasting models (B69UL/S, B610L/S, B610ML/S, B610M/S) stepping from UL to M power as depth and current increase; three spinning models (S66L, S66ML, S70M) for casting tairubber horizontally. The S70M adds a detachable grip for compact transport. Lure ratings in Japanese grams: bait models max 100–200g vertical, spinning models max 80–120g cast.

Softest bait model, designed specifically for the high-pressure Seto Inland Sea fishery where fish are line-shy and drop bites subtly. The UL power and supple blank are tuned to hold the bite longer before the fish detects resistance. Max 100g vertical, 130g dotera (drift). Per Major Craft: 'ultra-high sensitivity, lets fish bite without discomfort all the way to hookup.'
Deep-water specialist in the bait lineup. Torquey belly and butt absorb runs from large madai in 100m+ depth; max 200g vertical, 300g dotera. Per Major Craft: 'torqueful belly-to-butt absorbs powerful fights from large sea bream.' Also recommended for multi-species (gomaame, etc.) five-target tairubber fishing.
Longest model, with a detachable grip for portability. Extra length enables long casts to pressure-free fish and extended horizontal retrieves in shallow areas. Per Major Craft: targets fish 'that won't bite on vertical, your target that vertical can't reach.' Max cast 100g.
