Troutino Stream

JDM stream trout series from Major Craft made for native trout (yamame, iwana, amago) in small mountain streams and river headwaters, with secondary utility for BFS (bait finesse system) bass and smallmouth anglers. The series emphasizes compact to mid-length rods (3'8" to 8'2") covering both ultralight UL/L spinning work and longer ML/M models for river streamer presentations. Casting (baitcast/BFS) variants are also included for anglers using dedicated BFS reels. Blanks use a blend of high- and mid-modulus carbon fiber tuned by model for application.

Fuji Tangle-Free K-Guides with Alconite rings are fitted across the lineup for line management with light mono and fluorocarbon. Spinning models use a traditional reel seat; casting models feature a custom wood reel seat suited to compact BFS reels and provide better palmability. Casting models also carry a custom slanted full-cork grip enabling wider wrist movement for underhand and flick casting, which is standard in tenkara-adjacent stream approach. Fifteen models: eleven spinning (3'8" to 8'2") and four casting/BFS (3'8" to 5').

Spinning models progress from 3'8" UL ultrashort tools for confined stream gorges through 8'2" MH rods for river distances. The 6'9" TTS-692ML and 7'8" TTS-782M and 8'2" TTS-822MH carry RF (regular-fast) action, differing from the fast-action shorter models, showing a transition to river presentation style at longer lengths. The four casting models are all compact (4'10" or shorter) confirming a BFS instead of conventional casting intent.
