The EGINGER BLACK AIR-K is a JDM eging series from Prox made for squid anglers who require fast, repetitive jerk cadences and the leverage to manage larger bigfin squid (Sepioteuthis lessoniana). It follows Japanese eging philosophy: sensitive tip to detect subtle takes, stiff mid and butt to transmit sharp jerks. All three models carry ML power, consistent with standard egi-weight (2.0–3.5 size) handling.

The series distinguishes itself through Fuji K-guide framing (K guides reduce line slap on the blank), which Prox markets as enabling 'high-response operation', cleaner line release on cast and reduced torque on jerks. Blanks are 2-piece for portability. The 83ML is confirmed at 150 g, moderate weight for a 2.53 m rod, showing standard carbon construction without premium weight-saving measures.

Reel seat is Fuji branded. PE line rating spans 0.4–1.0. Three lengths step 7'9", 8'1", and 8'4", all ML. The length progression covers typical harbor/shore eging through longer-range scenarios. No power split, the series is a single-power, three-length line. Short of heavy egi or deep-water squid applications requiring MH or H variants.
