MiniMova 7SE
7-piece 30 cm packdown travel spinning rod for hikers and traveling anglers, lure range 3/32 to 5/8 oz
The Prox MiniMova 7SE (ミニモバ 7SE) is a 7-piece ultra-compact travel spinning rod designed for maximum portability without sacrificing the ability to fish a range of light lures. The target angler is someone who needs a fishing rod that fits in a day pack, camera bag, or carry-on luggage, hikers, urban anglers, and travelers who want an always-available option. "7SE" denotes 7-segment construction with a semi-hard case included.
The MM7S607MLS blank is 1.82 m (6 feet) in length and collapses to just 30 cm, comparable to a large water bottle. The 7-piece breakdown uses parallel (spigot) ferrule joints for clean power transfer between sections. The rod uses a lightweight skeleton reel seat that reduces overall weight (approximately 95 g) while maintaining reel security. Line rating runs 4–12 lb and lure weight 3/32–5/8 oz (3.5–18 g), spanning ultralight to light territory covering trout, bass, and panfish applications.
Action is ML-equivalent for accurate small-lure control. The rod ships with a dedicated semi-hard case. The lineup is a single model: MM7S607MLS. One length, one action, one power tier. Priced at the mid-range for Japanese travel rods, positioned above budget packable rods but below premium performance multi-piece blanks.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 1 model, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
