The Mobatra 8 PLUS1 SE is a compact multi-piece trout spinning rod made for anglers who need extreme portability, headwaters, camping, motorcycle or bicycle trips. The single model serves stream trout with small lures and spoons in the 1–4 g range, accommodating line of 2–6 lb. The solid tip is tuned to register subtle strikes and load cleanly on lightweight hardware.

Construction centers on a carbon blank with a delicate solid-tip section that follows short, hesitant bites without pulling the lure free. The 8+1 joint system collapses to a stated stowing length of 26.6 cm, shipped in a PP hard case. An extension grip of approximately 7 cm can be added for two-handed casting when needed.
