The POWER TENYA AIR-K is a single-model spinning rod for power tenya fishing, a Japanese boat technique made for red sea bream (madai) and other sparids with a weighted tenya jig head rigged with shrimp or baitfish. Power tenya, as distinct from standard tenya, uses heavier weights to fish greater depths or stronger currents, requiring a blank with backbone to control the heavier rig while retaining sensitivity for the deliberate, pause-oriented strikes of madai.

The blank uses a 30-ton carbon shaft with 4-axis wrapping from butt to grip, adding torsional rigidity and reducing blank twist under load, relevant when lifting large fish on heavy tenya. The tip is a carbon solid section in orange, providing high visual sensitivity. Reel seat is an original lightweight model; guides are Fuji K-frame to minimize PE line tangles during vertical presentation.

Construction follows the Air-K platform's emphasis on weight reduction and K-guide compatibility. The lineup is a single model: PTAK235H at 7'9" (2.35 m), spinning, heavy power. The H designation confirms tuning for deeper-water or heavier-weight tenya applications instead of the general-purpose mid-range tenya market.
