The Teleshorty SE is a Prox/Viceo ultra-compact telescopic spinning rod designed primarily for portability, the collapsed length of approximately 22.5 cm (TSHS55LT) fits in a standard business bag or day pack, making it suited to commuter fishing, travel, and bicycle or motorcycle trips where carrying a standard-length rod is impractical. Target applications are light lure fishing: urban trout streams, small rivers, light bass, and light inshore salt. Blank is a multi-section telescopic (approximately 11 sections plus 1 extension section) paired with an included extension grip that adds 17 cm to overall length when deployed, improving casting leverage and control.
At collapsed length, the rod fits inside a bag without a tube or case. The 5'5" (TSHS55LT) and 5'4" (TSHS55MLT) fishing lengths are functional for short-range presentations on smaller water. Construction details are unpublished beyond the telescopic blank, at this price tier, blank and guide materials are utilitarian. The extension grip is a key differentiator from simpler telescopics. Two models at near-identical collapsed and deployed lengths: TSHS55LT (L power, line 3–8 lb, lure 3/32–1/4 oz) and TSHS55MLT (ML power, line 4–10 lb, lure 3/16–3/8 oz).
LT is the lighter-line finesse end for trout and small stream work; MLT handles slightly heavier lures and line for bass and light inshore salt applications. Both spinning format.

A closer look at notable models.
ML power opens up to 3/8 oz lures and 10 lb line, the more versatile of the pair for light bass, perch, and light inshore salt use. The slightly heavier lure ceiling makes it more practical as a single-rod choice for mixed-species travel fishing.
Light power with a 3/32 oz lure floor, suited to trout, small stream bass, and urban fishing with very light soft plastics or small spinners. The very light line ceiling (8 lb max) limits usefulness in snag-heavy or heavy-fish situations.
