TINY CAST AIR-K
Ultra-compact solid-carbon spinning rods for area trout, light jigging, and restricted-space fishing.
The Tiny Cast Air-K is a compact ultralight spinning rod from Viceo, a sub-brand of Japanese manufacturer Prox, made for entry-to-mid-tier anglers made for small trout and panfish in confined environments. The "Air-K" designation refers to the use of all-Fuji K-frame guides, which reduce line-tangling and handle PE braided line without stress concentration, a notable spec inclusion for a budget-oriented short rod. This series fits area (managed) trout anglers, bank-side ice fishing setups, and light inshore presentations from jetties or wharfs.
Construction is a carbon full-solid blank, the entire rod tip-to-butt is solid carbon instead of hollow. Solid blanks in this size class prioritize casting feel and fish-playing feedback over ultimate sensitivity, creating a soft, progressive bend that keeps small hooks pinned. The Fuji K guides add a measure of durability and PE compatibility not always present at this price tier. No information is available on blank modulus, handle material, or reel seat brand; confidence on construction detail is limited.
Two lengths only, both UL power and spinning: VTCAKS13UL at 4'3" and VTCAKS15UL at 4'11". The shorter 13UL handles casting games, embankment ice fishing, and tightly restricted platforms; the 15UL adds reach for area trout ponds and light river jigging. Casting or higher-power models exist in this lineup is absent.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
All 2 modelsShortest model; suited for ice fishing, embankment casting, and small controlled ponds. At 4'3" it fits situations where rod length is actively restrictive.
Slightly longer reach; better fit for area trout lakes and light river jigging or mevering (soft-plastic vertical jigging). Remains compact enough for portability.
