The Tailwalk B-BREAMER SSD is a chinning (black sea bream) rod series built for finesse bottom lure fishing, soft baits on free rigs, jig head rigs, and Texas rigs, in bay and estuary environments. Target species is black sea bream (chinu/kurodai) though the balanced tip-to-power ratios suit light rock and light inshore work. The angler Tailwalk serves is technically-oriented, sensitive to bites from finicky fish, and working shallow-to-medium structured ground.
All models are based on carbon solid tips, either long solid (SL) for slow, deliberate lure movement around structure with higher cushion on the take, or short solid (SSL) for sharper lure control, better bottom-read, and cleaner hooksets. The blank blends sensitivity in the tip with meaningful mid-blank recovery; the short solid tip models in particular prioritize snag avoidance and bite-to-hand transmission. This coherence across solid tip types is the series' core identity.
Six models span both casting (C) and spinning (S) configurations. Three casting: 7'3" ML (C73ML/SL-T, long tip, tip T-connection), 7'6" ML (C76ML/SL), and 7'7" M+ (C77M+/SSL, short tip, heavier lures to 3/4oz). Three spinning mirrors the lengths: 7'3" ML (S73ML/SL-T), 7'6" ML (S76ML/SL), and 7'10" M (S710M/SSL). Lure range is 3/32–5/8oz for ML models and 3/16–3/4oz for the M/M+ variants.

Shorter casting model with long solid tip and T-joint tip section. The T-connection allows tip replacement independently. Favors slow lure presentation around rock structure; suitable for close-quarters chinning in tighter bay spots.
Heaviest-rated casting model. Short solid tip preserves lure feel at higher weight classes. Extra length and M+ backbone handle heavier free-rig setups and larger bream or incidental inshore serves.
Longest model in the series, spinning configuration. Short solid tip with M power gives casting reach and bottom clarity for deeper bay flats or longer casts. Reviewed as crisp and responsive; handles 5–21g range confidently.
