The only S-action (slow/glass-type) spinning model in the series. Soft action suits reactive bites on slow-fall soft plastics and finesse jigs where tip cushioning reduces lure ejection. Distinct from the regular-action S and C models.
Lightest casting model in the lineup. ML power at 6'6" handles lighter lures and species on the boat jigging side, small metal jigs, light iron, or finesse techniques typically paired with small round conventional reels.
Heaviest-rated rod in the series at XXH power. Designed for vertical jigging or heavy bottom rigs for large boat-side species. The casting/conventional setup suits lever-drag reels common in Japanese boat jigging.
Named for flat-side minnow and pencil-type lure presentations, BLACK & FLAT refers to slim, dark-profile surface and subsurface lures common in Japanese seabass fishing. The 7'6" length gives casting reach from the boat deck.
