NAMAZON MOBILLY
4-piece travel rod for large freshwater predators in remote destinations
NAMAZON MOBILLY is Tailwalk's multi-piece travel series built for monster fishing, large freshwater predators (arapaima, payara, giant snakehead, catfish) in remote or international destinations. 'MOBILLY' signals the travel focus; 'NAMAZON' references the Amazon-style fisheries the series serves. Anglers here are traveling lure anglers who need packable rods capable of fighting large, powerful fish. All rods are 4-piece construction, designed to approximate the feel of a 2-piece rod through X-Wrapping technology that runs to the tip section and prevents blank twist under load.
The butt is reinforced specifically for stopping runs from large fish. Blank elasticity is described as improved over previous generations, producing a continuous bend curve instead of hinging at joints. The reel seat accommodates larger reels suited to heavier braid. Both casting and spinning versions share the same multi-piece architecture. The 11-model lineup spans casting (7 models, 5'8"–6'8") and spinning (4 models, 6'8"–8'2"). Power ratings run MH to XXH, covering mid-range lure presentations up to heavier jerkbait and hard bait work in the XH and XXH slots.
The shorter casting rods (5'8"–5'10") sit in the heavier power brackets (XH, XXH) and are suited to tight-quarters or boat fishing. Longer spinning models (7'7", 8'2") extend reach for bank or wade scenarios.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 11 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
3 of 11 modelsShortest casting model with XXH power and regular action, an unusual combination suggesting a stout, punchy blank for short-range fights with large fish in confined situations such as boat docks or dense timber. Lure range is modest for the power rating.
The only Medium-power casting model. The '/G' suffix likely denotes guide configuration (glass or specialty guide). Broadest lure range in the casting segment at 1/32–9/16 oz; functions as the versatile all-rounder among the heavier-power travel casters.
Longest rod in the lineup. Spinning XH at 8'2" serves bank anglers or those needing casting distance on large open water. Heavy braid rating (12–35 lb) and the XH power bracket position this for serious fish on a travel platform.
