The Sprint Stick SSD is Tailwalk's standard-class offshore casting spinning series, designed for recreational boat-based anglers made for mid-to-large pelagics, mahi-mahi, yellowtail, bonito, mackerel, and similar blue-water species, with lures in the 50–140g range. The series is sold as an accessible entry into offshore casting instead of a specialist GT or big-game tool; it is explicitly described as appropriate for both beginners and experienced offshore anglers seeking a durable, dependable setup. Blanks use Tailwalk's standard offshore carbon construction with a regular (slow-taper) action throughout the range, which facilitates smooth, sustained fights against fast-running pelagics without locking up.

Hardware includes Fuji PKWSG and PKTSG guides double-wrapped for reduced blank stress, and a DPS-LD reel seat with long-nut for firm reel retention during hard fights. The series divides into two structural sub-groups: a lighter A-type grip cluster (70L through 80MH, max 80g, max 6kg drag) for medium pelagics and an entirely separate B-type grip cluster (80XH and 80XXH) with larger guides, heavier hardware, and drag ratings up to 17kg for kingfish, amberjack, and GT in the 80–140g lure range. Nine models, all spinning.

Lengths are 7' (three 70x models and the 70M), 7'4" (74M-P3 travel), 7'10" (710MH-P3 travel), and 8' (four 80x models). P3 suffix indicates 3-piece construction, collapsing to 79–84cm for airline travel. The 80XH and 80XXH are functionally a different tool category than the lighter models despite sharing the series name.
