The Tailwalk SPRINT STICK SSD CASTIN' BOOSTER is a heavy offshore spinning series developed under the guidance of Kyushu-based offshore guide Tatsukimaru for anglers made for large pelagic species, tuna, GT, yellowtail/amberjack, and kingfish, from shore or boat with large plug and metal jig presentations. The name references the enhanced casting capability over the base SPRINT STICK SSD line. All models are rated for significant PE line classes and lure weights up to 150 g. The XH and XXH power ratings and max drag specs make these unsuitable for lighter inshore work.

Blanks are built on Toray TORAYCA T1100G carbon for weight reduction without loss of breaking strength. Fuji T-RVSG butt guides enhance line release on heavy casts, and SiC ring guides run tip-to-butt for extended line durability. Fuji DPS reel seat with long hood nut (LD) secures large spinning reels during heavy fights. Published rod weights run above 300 g, these are physically demanding rods intended for experienced anglers prepared for demanding sessions. The "CASTIN' BOOSTER" designation implies optimization for distance casting specifically, differentiating these from vertical jigging builds.

Four spinning models across two lengths and four power ratings. The 7'10" pair (S710XH and S710XXH) provides compact length for platform access or technical positioning; the XXH steps up for the heaviest jigs and largest serves. The 8'4" pair (S84H and S84MH) extends range for shore-based casting and lighter pelagic serves. The MH model at 8'4" is the most accessible entry point in the series, H and XH/XXH models are for experienced big-game anglers.

S710XXH Spinning · 7'10" · XXH · R action

XXH rating is uncommon in spinning rods outside dedicated big-game builds. At 7'10" this is a compact heavy-lever rod for situations where power output must be maximized in a shorter blank, suitable for GT and large tuna from confined shore positions or boat gunnels.

S84MH Spinning · 8'4" · MH · R action

Lightest power in the series. The 8'4" length with MH power suits the entry-level offshore angler made for smaller tuna, yellowtail, and kingfish from shore with plugs up to ~80 g.
