SSD 20th Anniversary limited series

The Tailwalk SSD 20th Anniversary Limited Series is a commemorative four-model set celebrating 20 years of Tailwalk's SSD (Super Strong Drift) offshore boat fishing platform. Each model is drawn from a different established SSD sub-series, BOAT GAMER, L-JIGGYS, METALZON, and SLOW BUMP, reflecting the breadth of boat fishing techniques in the SSD family. This is a collector and celebration release instead of a redesigned lineup; the rods carry SSD 20th ANV LTD cosmetics over proven blanks. These are technique-specific specialist tools at premium price points.

Construction follows the respective parent series: BOAT GAMER models are seabass boat casting rods; L-JIGGYS (C631/FSL) uses a full-solid blank for light jigging with muted jig action and deep-flex bite buffering; METALZON (C63MH/SL) serves heavy metal jig techniques for mid-range offshore species; SLOW BUMP (633) is a slow-pitch jigging rod with Regular action designed for the rhythmic lift-and-drop slow jerk technique. The full-solid (FSL/SL) blank designations on two models distinguish them from tubular counterparts, solid blanks reduce dead-spot in jig animation and prevent loss-of-fish on the pause.

All four models are compact (6'3") or close to it, typical of Japanese boat jigging rods. Three are casting/conventional; SLOW BUMP 633 is spinning. The BOAT GAMER SSD 20th ANV LTD S70MH (7', MH) is the longest and most versatile as a general boat seabass casting rod. The L-JIGGYS FSL and METALZON SL represent opposite ends of the jigging spectrum; the SLOW BUMP 633 stands alone as the slow-pitch specialist.
