WIDE POWER BOW

Tailwalk's WIDE POWER BOW is a Japanese multi-field power baitcasting series designed for anglers who cross between shore jigging, topwater, offshore casting, and monster fish applications in both salt and fresh. The defining characteristic is the R (regular/parabolic) action throughout, the blank loads deeply into the butt, well suited for throwing big poppers, stick baits, and metal jigs where a stiff fast-tip blank would kill lure action and compress the power stroke.

Intended anglers include shore jigging specialists in Japan, Southeast Asia, and similar markets fishing large GT, amberjack, or snakehead. Blanks are high-tenacity with spiral guide configuration (Fuji) on the 83HD model to reduce torque and line interference under load, common in Japanese jigging and topwater setups that put maximum strain on the blank during hooksets and fights. The series is designed to pair with Tailwalk's Elan Wide Power reels. Vertical max 250g, casting max 100g places it in the heavy lure category for shore-based power casting, though specifics vary by model.

Five casting models: 60 (6'), 66 (6'6"), 70 (7'), 80 (8'), 83HD (8'3"). All R action. The series scales by length/reach requirement, 60/66 are compact for confined rock platforms or boat-based work; 80/83HD extend reach and casting distance for open shore jigging. The 83HD is the flagship heavy model with the spiral guide setup.
