Inshore Select Spinning Rod

An entry-to-mid-tier inshore spinning series built for coastal species across US saltwater flats, bays, and estuaries. Primary serves are redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and striped bass. Designed for anglers who want brand-durable construction at an accessible price point, a step up from the base Ugly Stik line without reaching into premium territory. Construction uses higher-graphite-content blanks compared to earlier Ugly Stik iterations, reducing weight while retaining the brand's characteristic durability.

Ugly Tuff guides are one-piece stainless frames resistant to corrosion and guide insert blow-out, practical in saltwater conditions. The Clear Tip design provides graduated action through the tip section. Cork handles. One-piece construction throughout. Four models, all spinning, spanning 7' and 7'6" in M and MH power. Line ratings step from 8–20lb (M) to 10–25lb (MH). Casting versions in this lineup is absent.

The 7'6" models add reach for longer presentations and surf/pier scenarios. The series does not include lighter ML or heavier H powers, keeping it squarely in the middle of the inshore range instead of covering light finesse or heavier live-bait work.
