Artillery

The Bull Bay Artillery is a custom-built spinning rod line assembled one at a time at Bull Bay's Lakeland, FL shop. It serves inshore saltwater anglers, primarily redfish, snook, and trout, who want a blank-up custom rod without the lead time of a full custom builder. Each rod uses the same 24/36-ton carbon blend blanks found in Bull Bay's Sniper/Stealth Sniper series. Buyers select components (grips, reel seat, wraps) from Bull Bay's in-house inventory.

The Artillery blanks are identical across the line, the models differ entirely by length and line class, not by distinct blank taper families. Construction involves premium component options including carbon fiber grips alongside standard cork and EVA. The "Limited Edition" designation on current SKUs indicates periodic production runs instead of a continuous catalog, and model numbers are Shopify variant IDs instead of conventional rod codes.

All six current models are spinning, ranging from 7' to 7'8". Line classes cover a broad inshore spectrum: 6-12lb (finesse/trout), 8-17lb (all-around), 10-20lb (redfish/snook), and 12-25lb (heavier inshore or light nearshore). Casting configuration is currently listed is absent.
