Banshee
Florida inshore series with extra-fast tip over a progressive backbone for soft plastics and hard baits.
The Bull Bay Banshee is a Florida-built inshore series made for redfish, snook, seatrout, and similar flats and backcountry serves. Blanks are a 24/36-ton carbon blend, finished in a matte sand-color paint Bull Bay calls a flats finish. Every model in the lineup carries an extra-fast tip over a progressive backbone, a profile tuned for soft plastics on jigheads, weedless paddletails, twitchbaits, and small hard baits.
Components include tangle-free guides on optimized spacing, double-locking matte reel seats, and EVA-rubberized composite grips with flared butt caps for leverage on running fish. The series received an ICAST Best Saltwater Rod award in 2021. The 25-rod matrix spans 6'4" to 7'8" in both spinning and casting builds. Line ratings run 5-10 lb (ML), 6-12 lb (M), and 10-17 lb (MH), with the heavier MH typically reserved for larger snook and slot-plus reds on braid.
Casting SKUs carry a BC suffix; non-suffixed SKUs are spinning. Two travel models (BBRBN12-7-TRAVEL and BBRBN17-7-TRAVEL) are built as multi-piece for transport.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 25 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
