Kaman

The Bull Bay Kaman is a heavy swimbait rod series designed for made for large predatory fish with oversized soft plastic swimbaits and paddle tails. Applications span both freshwater (largemouth, striper) and inshore saltwater (snook, jack crevalle, large redfish). All rods are built in Lakeland, FL. The series is built for anglers who regularly throw 2–5oz+ swimbaits and need the combination of a sensitive tracking tip and substantial lifting power once a fish is hooked.

All Kaman models share a 7'10" one-piece spinning blank. The differentiator is line class, three weight tiers (15-40lb, 30-50lb, 40-80lb), and within each tier, two handle/grip configurations are offered (C and S suffix, likely cork and synthetic/EVA). Rubber gimbal butts are standard, allowing rod holder use on boats. Blanks appear to be specialized for swimbait loads instead of adapted from general inshore blanks.

The lineup is entirely spinning at 7'10", structured around three line class tiers with two grip variants each: BBRKM40-710-C/S (15-40lb), BBRKM50-710-C/S (30-50lb), BBRKM80-710-C/S (40-80lb). The 40-80lb tier moves into braided-heavy territory for deep water swimbait applications. Casting variants exist in the current lineup is absent.
