The Daiwa 24 Ardito Jitte is a compact telescoping travel rod duo, one spinning, one casting, engineered for anglers who need a full-performance fishing rod in a form factor small enough to fit in a carry-on bag or backpack. The collapsed length is approximately 18.5 inches, achieved by a unique design where the handle fully encases the collapsed telescoping rod sections. The target user is a traveler or backcountry angler who cannot or will not check fishing equipment.

The blank uses Daiwa's HVF Nanoplus carbon fiber, low-resin, high-fiber content for improved rigidity, combined with X45 bias wrapping to counteract torsional twist during casting. V-Joint technology connects the telescoping sections with a tapered flexing joint that distributes load across the ferrule region instead of creating a dead spot, a common failure mode in telescoping designs. Fuji aluminum-oxide guides and an exclusive Daiwa reel seat are fitted throughout.

The black EVA handle is compact and functional. Retail price is $199.99–$249.99. Both rods are 6'7" at M power, a deliberate choice to cover the broadest range of freshwater and light-saltwater applications in a single rod. The ARD67B-TR is a casting (baitcasting) model; the ARD67S-TR is the spinning counterpart. The lineup is organized purely by reel-style preference: one casting, one spinning, same length and power.
