Saltwater slow-pitch jigging series from Daiwa's top-tier Saltiga line, designed for vertical jigging in deeper water, 100–400 m range, made for amberjack, yellowtail, grouper, and similar bottom-pelagic species. The series name reflects a "power slow" philosophy: jig control on the drop combined with capacity to fight large, hard-running fish instead of relying on the angler to pump alone. MSRP $449.99. Blanks use HVF Nanoplus carbon with Daiwa's 3DX three-dimensional cross-wrap fiber construction and X45 bias wrapping for torque resistance under load.
FUJI SiC ring guides with K-frame. Daiwa states a 120% durability increase over conventional slow jig rod construction. Rods are casting (overhead) configuration throughout, slow-pitch jigging is overwhelmingly done with conventional reels in this technique. Saltiga Executive 5-year warranty applies. Six models across three lengths, 6'1", 6'10", and 8'0", each available in H and XH power. The shorter 6'1" and 6'10" models fit confined boat decks and moderate depths; the 8'0" variants extend lever arm for deeper water or heavier jig control.
H handles jig weights through approximately 250–300 g; XH pushes to 400 g and heavier. All regular (moderate-fast) action for slow-pitch cadence. Spinning models is absent.

Longest model in the series. The extended blank gives additional jig action leverage and absorption in very deep water. Better suited to open-deck charter environments than cramped private boats. H power keeps it in the 200–300 g jig range.
Combines the reach of the 8' blank with XH power, intended for the heaviest jigs at depth or where current demands extra weight. This is the most demanding rod in the series to fish all day; suits anglers made for large amberjack or deepwater grouper.
