The Daiwa 25 Prorex Stein is a muskie-dedicated casting rod series released in 2025, made for large esox. Muskellunge and tiger muskie. In North American and European big-fish waters. All three models are 9'8" baitcasters built to throw oversized baits and control fish in open or moderately structured water. The "SEEK YOUR MONSTER" branding signals the intended use clearly: this is a single-species, maximum-power platform.
Blanks use SVF Nanoplus graphite with X45 bias wrap, the same structural approach found across premium Daiwa freshwater sticks. V-Joint technology at the two-piece ferrule allows the blank to flex as a single unit without leverage dead spots. Fuji SiC guides handle heavy braid. The oversized pistol grip on the Fuji reel seat is engineered for repeated casting fatigue reduction during long sessions throwing 2–6oz+ baits.
Full premium cork on the lower grip. Laser-branded with the Prorex motto. Three casting-only models, all 9'8", differentiated solely by power: H (PRXST98HFB), XH (PRXST98XHXB), and XXH (PRXST98XXHXB).
