25 Steez Travel

Premium five-piece travel rod series from Daiwa's flagship Steez freshwater line, made for bass and multi-species anglers who need full-performance rods in carry-on or checked-luggage format. The target angler travels frequently, domestic or international, and does not want to compromise on blank sensitivity or casting feel relative to a single-piece rod. MSRP Steez positions at the upper tier of Daiwa's freshwater range. Blanks use Daiwa SVF Nanoplus high-density, low-resin graphite, the same material platform as non-travel Steez rods.

V-joint ferrule technology at each connection point allows the joints to flex with the blank instead of creating hard spots, the key design challenge in multi-piece travel rods. X45 bias wrapping reduces twist under casting and fighting loads. FUJI SiC ring guides. Assembled collapsed length is approximately 22.25". Five pieces per rod. Six models covering a broad technique spread: one spinning BFS (ML, 6'10"), one spinning M (7'1"), four casting rods ranging L power to H power (6'8"–7'6").

Powers span L through H; actions are F (fast) except the BF casting rod which is R (regular/moderate) for bait-finesse presentations. The lineup is not redundant, each model addresses a distinct technique: finesse drop shot, all-around spinning, BFS, all-around casting M, flipper/punching MH, and swimbait/big lure H.
