The Daiwa Ardito Premium is the four-piece mid-tier travel rod series in the Ardito lineup, made for general freshwater anglers who want a capable, packable rod for bass, walleye, and similar species during travel. The rods are positioned above the base Ardito-TR in blank quality while staying more accessible than the telescopic Premium Telescopic variant. Four-piece construction keeps packed length short while preserving the taper integrity that a pure telescoping design compromises.
Blanks use HVF NanoPlus carbon fiber, a high-fiber-volume, low-resin construction that Daiwa applies across performance rods in their lineup, combined with X-45 bias fiber to prevent twisting. V-Flex Ferrule joints are positioned to bend with the blank instead of create stiff nodes. Manufacturer claims the rod fishes like a one-piece. Semi-hard travel cases are included. Retail is in the $199-$249 range. The two models differ in rod style and power: the ARD6104MHFB-TR is a 6'10" Medium-Heavy casting rod with Fast action rated for 8-20 lb / 1/4-3/4 oz, with a full cork handle suited to heavier bass and walleye presentations.
The ARD684MLFS-TR is a 6'8" Medium-Light spinning rod with Fast action rated for 5-12 lb / 1/8-1/2 oz, with a split grip for reduced weight. The pair covers the two most common freshwater rod-and-reel configurations at complementary power levels.

The MH casting model serves heavier freshwater presentations, flipping jigs, Texas rigs, and medium-weight cranks, where the extra power aids hooksets and fish control in cover. The full cork handle is standard for baitcasting applications that require a longer grip section.
