B.B.B, written as Triple B and read in Japan as both toripuru-bii and bui-surii, is Daiwa's telescopic packable bass series. The T in every model code marks the construction: these are furidashi (telescopic) rods whose five or six sections collapse into the butt, which packs them shorter than a two-piece rod of the same length. Packed lengths run 41 to 44 cm across the lineup while assembled lengths are 1.91 to 2.08 m, and weights sit between 110 and 130 g. Carbon content is 96 percent.

Daiwa tapers the blank continuously from butt to tip so the loaded curve reads closer to a conventional rod than most collapsible designs. Every model ships with a padded carrying case that takes the collapsed rod with a reel still mounted, and sponge padding inside protects the tip sections.

The lineup splits between baitcasting and spinning. Baitcast models such as 636TMLRB and 666TMLRB carry 5 to 21 g and 6 to 14 lb, while 666TMRB and 6106TMFB run 6 to 18 g and 7 to 16 lb. Spinning models cover the light end, with 666TLFS and 6106TLFS rated 0.8 to 5 g on 2 to 5 lb and 6106TMLFS stepping up to 2 to 14 g. Daiwa positions the series for bass first but also for trout, managed fisheries and light saltwater lure work.
