Blazon Mobile

Blazon Mobile is the packable arm of the Blazon family: five models built as six-section telescopic rods rather than the plug-jointed multi-piece format most travel rods use. Each blank collapses into its own butt section, so packed length is 42 to 47 cm and there are no loose sections to lose in transit. Materials follow the parent series, with HVF carbon blanks and the Braiding-X outer wrap that lays carbon tape in a crossing pattern to resist twist under casting and hookset loads. Finished weights run 92 to 137 g.

Two spinning models cover the light end: 646TLS at 1.93 m and 666TLS at 1.98 m, both rated 1.8 to 7 g and 4 to 8 lb. Three baitcasters cover the rest: 666TMB at 1.98 m and 6106TMB at 2.08 m, both medium and rated 5 to 18 g and 7 to 16 lb, and 6106TMHB at 2.08 m, the heaviest of the group at 7 to 21 g and 8 to 20 lb. Model codes read length, then section count, then T for telescopic, then power, then S or B for spinning or bait. The spread is narrow on purpose. This is a set for anglers who want a working bass rod in a backpack or a car trunk, and the lineup stops at MH, leaving frog and swimbait powers to the standard Blazon rods.
