Dragger SX SLSJ

Super light shore jigging, abbreviated SLSJ in Japan, is the scaled-down branch of the shore jigging discipline. Standard shore jigging throws 60 to 200 gram metal from rock and breakwater for adult amberjack; SLSJ works jigs of 10 to 30 grams on 0.4 to 1.0 PE braid for the smaller pelagics that patrol the same water, including juvenile yellowtail, mackerel, small bonito and sawara, plus hard-bottom species that take a falling jig. An American angler can read it as light jetty and surf casting for false albacore and schoolie stripers, run on tackle closer to an inshore spinning outfit than a heavy surf stick. Dragger SX SLSJ carries three models, all rated to a maximum 30 gram jig with PE 0.4 to 1.0: the 2.54 m 84M at 104 g for close-range work off jetties and rocks, the 2.84 m 94M at 115 g for distance, and the 2.82 m 93M-S at 115 g with a solid tip that loads with jigs under 10 grams and registers bites on the drop. Unlike the heavier Draggers these print a jig figure only, with no separate plug rating, because the discipline is jig-led. Blanks use SVF carbon, which cuts resin content below HVF to pack more fiber into a slimmer wall, with X45 bias reinforcement against blank twist. Fittings are an Air Sensor Slim Fit reel seat and small-diameter SiC guides specified to be easy on thin braid.
