Dragger X is the entry tier of the ladder, launched in 2023 and extended in 2024 by three T-designated travel builds, for thirteen models in total. It covers the same fishery as the rest of the series at a lower build spec: casting metal jigs and plugs from breakwater, rock and beach for amberjack, sawara and bonito that follow bait within range of the bank. Americans will recognise the discipline as surf and jetty casting for stripers and false albacore, carried out with far heavier lures and a worked jigging retrieve. Ten of the thirteen are 2.90 or 3.05 m. The 96ML and 100ML take 10-50 g jigs and 10-45 g plugs on PE 1-2; 96M and 100M step to 20-70 g jigs; 96MH and 100MH to 30-90 g jigs on PE 2-3; the 100H to 40-110 g jigs on PE 3-4. The three-piece 100M-3, 100MH-3 and 100H-3 repeat those ratings, and the 2024 T100M-3, T100MH-3 and T100H-3 pack down to 116 to 125 cm. Rod weights run 217 to 309 g. Every model prints both a jig and a plug figure, the plug figure lower, because a topwater or diving plug of a given weight is bulkier in the air and heavier in the water than a compact slab of lead. Blanks use Braiding X carbon-tape reinforcement against twist, with an Air Sensor reel seat on ML through MH, a DPS seat on the H models, and K guides throughout.
