Emeraldas X Ikametal

Six rods released in May 2026 as the entry point to ikametal, the after-dark boat fishery in which squid are drawn up under deck lamps and taken on metal sutte. A sutte is a weighted lure crowned with barbs, sized in grams and in Japanese 号 units, and the bites register as a small change in tip load rather than a pull, so the whole series runs a carbon solid tip painted fluorescent orange for visual detection. Three baitcasting models share a 6'5" length and separate on sutte ceiling: 65ULB-S to 95 g or about 25号 for soft, drifting presentations, 65LB-S to 115 g or 30号 for sharper work, 65MLB-S to 150 g or 40号 for deep water and heavy rigs. The 65LS-S is the 6'5" spinning version for casting light sutte and dropping them fast. Two omorig spinning rods, OR63MLS-S at 6'3" and OR70MLS-S at 7'0", handle rigs to 150 g with the long rear grip the discipline needs. Blank weights run 88 to 100 g on PE 0.4 to 1.0. Butt sections carry Braiding X carbon tape, guides are all K frames with a spiral setting on the baitcasting models to stop night tangles, and an alignment mark on the blank shows where to strike.
