Emeraldas X IL

The interline version of the entry-level Emeraldas X. Interline means the braid is fed inside the blank and exits at a single tip ring, so the rod has no external guides for slack line to wrap around. That failure mode is the reason interline exists in this fishery. Eging works an egi in jerks that deliberately throw slack, and slack braid in a crosswind or after dark loops a conventional tip guide often enough that many Japanese squid anglers keep an interline rod specifically for windy nights. The internal bore uses a spiral ridge structure so the line rides on raised peaks rather than flat against the wall, plus a durable water-repellent coating to keep droplets from forming and slowing the line. Six two-piece models run 7'9" to 8'6" and 95 to 103 g in ML and M pairs at each of three lengths. Egi ratings are 1.8号 to 3.5号 for ML and 2.5号 to 4.0号 for M, the 号 scale corresponding to about 3 cm of egi body per unit, with PE 0.5 to 1.2 line. Blanks are HVF carbon with Braiding X butt reinforcement, on a slim Air Sensor carbon reel seat.
