The ajing-specific half of the MX range, built on the same HVF Nanoplus blank, X45 bias wrap, V-JOINT ferrules, Zero Seat Compact Fit and carbon monocoque rear grip as the mebaru models, but tuned for a lighter and more static presentation. Ajing is fished for horse mackerel on bare jigheads, most often between 0.4 and 3 g, and the take is frequently nothing more than the lure's weight disappearing from the line. MX Ajing answers that with an unusually short front end: the 48L-S measures 1.42 m and the 410UL-S 1.47 m, both intended for close-range work inside harbors on sub-1 g heads where a longer rod would cost precision on the shake and the hookset. From there the range steps through 54L-T, 55L-S, 64UL-S and 66L-S to the 711ML-S at 2.41 m, which is the Carolina rig and float rod for casting past the near-shore fish. Ratings run 0.3 to 5 g on the ultralight models and 1.5 to 10 g on the 711ML-S, with PE 0.1 to 0.5 and weights from 48 to 79 g. MegaTop solid carbon tips are fitted to every model except the 54L-T, which uses a tubular tip for higher rebound and reaction feedback. Solid tips matter here because a rod stiff enough to work a 0.6 g head still needs a section that folds on a bite too light to feel.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 7 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
