Mobile Pack is Daiwa's general-purpose telescopic travel lineup, nine models built to keep casting distance and accuracy in a rod that collapses into its own butt section. Sections number five or six depending on model, assembled lengths run 1.93 to 2.90 m, and packed lengths run 41 to 68 cm. Weights span 94 to 175 g. Blanks use HVF carbon, a high-density layup that reduces resin content for a stiffer, more resilient wall, and reel seats are Air Sensor Seat carbon composite. A rod bag with a top cover is included.
The lineup is deliberately broad rather than bass-specific. At the light end, 646TUL is 1.93 m, 94 g, packed to 41 cm, rated 1 to 6 g on PE 0.2 to 0.6, which is trout and light rockfish territory. The 766TML and 866TML models carry 5 to 25 g on PE 0.6 to 1.2. At the heavy end, 905TM is 2.74 m and 170 g, packed to 65 cm, rated 7 to 35 g and also carrying an egi rating of #3.0 to #4.0, while 965TMH reaches 2.90 m and 10 to 40 g. Two baitcasting models, 665TMB and 765TMHB, sit inside the same spec bands. Daiwa lists the intended fisheries as trout, bass, catfish, black seabream, small rockfish, squid, seabass, flatfish and light shore jigging.
