New Acculite

The Daiwa New Acculite is a budget-to-mid-tier spinning series primarily made for salmon, steelhead, and surf applications. The series fits anglers who fish Pacific Northwest rivers for salmon and steelhead, as well as coastal surf fishers who need longer blanks capable of reaching beyond the break. Entry-level and occasional-use anglers are the core audience given the accessible price point. Blanks use HVF carbon fiber technology according to Daiwa's published specs, which results in lighter and faster action compared to standard carbon construction at this price tier.

Fuji diamond-polished aluminum oxide guides are listed as standard, and cork handles are used on most models. The series is 2-piece throughout. Action designations include F (fast), S (slow), and one M (moderate), which maps to the distinct fishing styles the series serves. Eleven models span 8'6" to 10'6" in L through MH power. The 8'6" tier (F-action M, MH, ML) covers the heavier surf and steelhead swing fishing range. The 9' tier mirrors the 8'6" power range with the same F-action M, MH, ML, plus an S-action L model for ultralight surf work.

The 9'6" tier adds a third L-power model in M-action (ACLT962LRS) and maintains the S and F action options, providing float fishing, drift fishing, and heavy surf coverage within a single series.
