New Saltiga Jigging

The Daiwa New Saltiga Jigging series is a top-tier offshore jigging lineup made for large pelagics, amberjack, grouper, tuna, yellowtail, at significant depth with heavy metal jigs. It is positioned at the premium end of Daiwa's saltwater hierarchy. The target angler is an experienced offshore boat fisherman who jigs in conditions where blank failure or guide breakdown is not acceptable. Blanks use HVF Nanoplus, a high-volume fiber construction with nano-level resin density that reduces blank diameter while maintaining strength.

X45 bias carbon fiber wrap and 3DX interwoven carbon act as external reinforcement, resisting twisting during hooksets and the long pump-and-wind cycles of deep jigging. Fuji tangle-free guides minimize jig drop friction. Active Hold reel seats with carbon fiber construction reduce weight and transmit vibration. EVA dimple handles provide grip security during sustained fight. 5-year limited warranty. All 19 models are the same Regular action (R), consistent with deep-water slow-pitch and speed-jigging styles where the blank must load progressively to pump heavy jigs and absorb the runs of large fish.

The lineup is organized by length (5'8", 6', 6'6", 7') and power (ML through XXH), with parallel bait (B) and spinning (S) versions for each spec, except ML, which appears only at 6' and lacks a 5'8" counterpart, and XXH, which appears only as a 5'8" casting model with Spinning counterpart is absent. Power steps are ML, M, MH, H, XH, XXH, the widest power range in any series in this batch.
