Conventional vertical jigging in the Outrage BR standard tier, the fast one-pitch style rather than the fall-driven slow-pitch of the SJ series. Eight models split evenly, four spinning and four conventional, and all are 6'0" (1.83 m) two-piece rods joined at the butt, closing to 127 to 132 cm. Where the higher Outrage J line is one-piece and stops at seven models, BR J adds a -5 in both reel types. Ratings are jig grams and maximum PE class, not a power letter: -2.5 is MAX 160 g and PE 2.5 for 30 to 80 m, -3 is MAX 180 g and PE 3 for 40 to 100 m, -4 is MAX 220 g and PE 4 for 60 to 130 m, and -5 is MAX 260 g and PE 5 for 80 to 160 m and fast current. Rod weights run 160 to 198 g, with the conventional rods 10 to 30 g heavier than their spinning twins. The blank is HVF carbon with X45. Spinning models use the lightweight Air Sensor seat also fitted to Saltiga R; conventional models use a Fuji TCS seat.
