Light jigging in the Outrage BR standard tier and the widest series in the family at ten models, five conventional and five spinning. Light jigging covers 30 to 200 g jigs on PE 0.6 to 2.0, between the SLJ series below and the J series above. Power is written H, XH and XXH, which places a model inside that light-jigging window rather than on the bass UL-to-XH ladder: H is 30 to 120 g on PE 1.2, XH is 60 to 150 g on PE 1.5, XXH is 80 to 200 g on PE 2.0. Every model is 6'3" (1.91 m). The H rods carry a Mega Top solid tip for a softer jerk stroke, and Daiwa notes they double as super light jigging rods. XH and XXH are each offered twice, once as a butt-joint rod closing to 142 to 145 cm and once as a center-cut rod with a V-Joint closing to 100 cm for travel, marked by the -2 suffix. Rod weights run 125 to 145 g. The blank is HVF carbon with X45, and Daiwa specifically calls out a ferrule design that resists the rotation that loosens center-cut joints during a long day.
