Slow-pitch jigging rods, the top tier of Daiwa's Japanese Outrage family. Daiwa positions Outrage under the flagship Saltiga and states the blank design follows the 2023 Saltiga SJ taper, set slightly stiffer for easier handling; Outrage BR and Outrage XV sit below it. Slow-pitch jigging is worked with the rod rather than the reel handle: the blank is loaded and released so the jig flutters horizontally on the fall, which is why every one of the 11 models is a conventional (bait) rod built around a narrow round reel and a trigger seat. There is no spinning option and no UL-to-XH power label. Instead the number after the dash is a slow-pitch class scale. Eight tubular models run 6'1" (1.85 m) one-piece from 61B-00 at 80 to 150 g and PE 1.2 max up to 61B-6 at 250 to 800 g and PE 4 max, weighing 105 to 135 g. Three Thrill Game models shorten to 5'5" (1.65 m) and use a full-length Mega Top solid blank with an X45X outer layer, rated 150 to 300 g, 200 to 400 g and 250 to 500 g. Blank material is HVF Nanoplus with X45 Full Shield, and the reel seat is the ZERO_SEAT developed for the Saltiga SJ.
