Outrage XV BLJ

Blade jigging in the entry Outrage XV tier. Blade jigging is a Japanese near-shore style in which a metal jig carrying a spinning blade is cast or dropped and then retrieved fast, mainly for Spanish mackerel and yellowtail. All three models are spinning and are rated twice, for casting and for vertical use, with no UL-to-XH power label: BLJ 68MHS casts to 70 g and works 20 to 100 g jigs on PE 1.5 max, BLJ 68HS casts to 100 g and works 30 to 140 g on PE 2, and BLJ 68XHS casts to 130 g and works 40 to 180 g on PE 2. All three are 6'8" (2.03 m) center-cut two-piece rods closing to 106 cm and weighing 128 to 138 g. Daiwa specifies K guides to reduce line tangling on the cast and a Daiwa original seat matched to 4000 to 6000 size spinning reels, with a grip profile shaped for holding through high-speed retrieves. Casting use is specified as underhand or sidearm, which is standard practice on crowded charter decks. Construction is Braiding X, the single reinforcement used across the XV tier, and Daiwa presents XV as the full model change of the VADEL series.
