Outrage XV J

Conventional vertical jigging in the entry Outrage XV tier, the fast one-pitch style rather than the fall-driven slow-pitch of the SJ line. Five models, three spinning (60S-3, 60S-4, 60S-5) and two conventional (60B-3, 60B-4), all 6'0" (1.83 m) two-piece rods joined at the butt and closing to 128 to 130 cm. Ratings are maximum jig grams and maximum PE class rather than a power letter: -3 is MAX 180 g on PE 3 for mid-size amberjack and yellowtail, -4 is MAX 220 g on PE 4, and -5 is MAX 260 g on PE 5 for large fish. The -5 exists only in spinning. Rod weights run 182 to 202 g, the heaviest rods in the XV tier apart from the casting models, which is consistent with a Braiding X butt reinforcement in place of the X45 and HVF constructions used on Outrage BR J and Outrage J. Seats are Fuji, DPS on spinning and TCS on conventional. Daiwa presents XV as the full model change of the VADEL offshore series, specified for use outside Japan as well as at home.
