Outrage XV LJ

Light jigging in the entry Outrage XV tier, covering 40 to 200 g jigs on PE 0.6 to 2.0, between the SLJ series below and the J series above. Power is written H, XH and XXH, but those letters locate a model inside the light-jigging window rather than on the bass UL-to-XH ladder: H is 40 to 120 g on PE 0.6 to 1.2, XH is 60 to 160 g on PE 0.8 to 1.5, XXH is 80 to 200 g on PE 1.0 to 2.0. The six models are the same three powers in each reel type, all 6'3" (1.91 m) two-piece rods joined at the butt and closing to 145 cm. Daiwa assigns the conventional models to vertical work and the spinning models to casting, angled retrieves and fast winding. Rod weights are 135 to 144 g conventional and 120 to 129 g spinning. Conventional models use a Fuji TCS seat and spinning models a Daiwa original seat sized for mid-size reels. Construction is Braiding X, a butt-section carbon tape wrap, the single reinforcement used across the XV tier, which Daiwa presents as the full model change of the VADEL series.
