Outrage XV SJ

Slow-pitch jigging in the entry Outrage XV tier. In slow-pitch the blank is loaded and released so the jig flutters on the fall, so all four models are conventional rods for narrow round reels, and none use a UL-to-XH power label. The number after the dash is the slow-pitch class scale, running 1 through 4 here, a narrower spread than the six-model Outrage BR SJ line (0 to 5) and the eleven-model Outrage SJ line (00 to 6, plus three short full-solid models). SJ 63B-1 is rated 120 to 210 g on PE 1.5 max, 63B-2 is 150 to 250 g on PE 2, 63B-3 is 180 to 330 g on PE 3, and 63B-4 is 200 to 350 g on PE 3. All four are 6'3" (1.91 m) two-piece rods joined at the butt, closing to 146 cm, and they are the lightest slow-pitch rods in the family at 114 to 125 g. The seat is a Fuji T-DPS chosen for round reels, and construction is Braiding X. Daiwa presents XV as the full model change of the earlier VADEL series, with strength targets it describes as not inferior to the tiers above.
