Prorex Muskie Rods Winn Grips

The Daiwa Prorex Muskie (Winn Grips) is a specialized casting series made for muskellunge, one of the most physically demanding freshwater applications in North America. Built for anglers who throw heavy wire-bait, large swimbaits, and oversized jerkbaits all day, and who need a rod stiff enough to drive big trebles into bony muskie mouths. Winn Grip handles are a direct swap for the cork-handled Prorex variant; they provide reliable grip in wet conditions and cold weather, which matters on fall muskie water.

All three models are one-piece casting blanks with Fuji Concept-O ring guides and a Fuji palming reel seat. Daiwa uses a ferrule-at-handle construction on some models, placing the joint at the top of the handle instead of mid-blank, which preserves action continuity. R (regular) action across the board means these blanks load progressively, appropriate for big lure work and absorbing the shock of a striking muskie. Line ratings step from 25 lb on the MH model up to 60 lb on the 9'5" XH, which is sized for open-water trolling and big-bait casting at distance.

Three casting models, no spinning. Power steps from MH (25–40 lb) to H (30–50 lb) to XH (30–60 lb). Two models share the 8'6" length for standard casting work; the 9'5" XH is the distance/big-water tool. All are R action. No finesse applications; this lineup is strictly for heavy muskie hardware.
