Saltiga J HIGHRESPONSE

Saltiga J HIGHRESPONSE is the high-modulus half of a deliberate pair in Daiwa's conventional jigging line, dated September 2026 against the low-modulus J LOWRESPONSE of that April. Daiwa uses response to mean blank stiffness and recovery rather than power: a high-response blank is sharp and high-modulus and answers an input directly, described in Japanese as crisp, against the soft and springy character of the low-modulus rods. The two lines cover the same line classes, so the choice is character, not capacity. Six one-piece spinning rods split across two lengths. Four are 6'0" (1.83 m): 60S-2.5 (jigs to 220 g, PE max 2.5, 159 g, around 80 m), 60S-3 (to 250 g, PE max 3, 161 g, around 100 m), 60S-4 (to 300 g, PE max 4, 170 g, around 120 m) and 60S-5 (to 350 g, PE max 5, 184 g, around 150 m). Two are 6'4" (1.93 m): 64S-3 (to 250 g, PE max 3, 164 g) and 64S-4 (to 300 g, PE max 4, 173 g), the extra length bought for a wider action range and for keeping speed in the jig when current loads it. The suffix is the PE class, and it means the same line rating at either length. No power letter is published; jig grams and PE number are the whole specification, which is standard for Japanese offshore jigging and why most of these rods carry no UL-to-XH label. Daiwa names warasa and buri-class yellowtail and sawara at the light end, large hiramasa, kanpachi and tuna at the heavy end. Blanks are HVF nanoplus with X45 Full Shield, AGS carbon-frame guides and a ZERO SEAT.
