Skyhigh Boat Game is the boat arm of the Skyhigh family rather than a shore lineup, and it reached shops in September 2025. Five rods run 2.03 to 2.26 m (about 6 ft 8 in to 7 ft 5 in) at 108 to 133 g: three spinning (69MS, 72MHS, 75MHS) and two baitcasting (68MB, 73HB). Lure ratings are 7 to 60 g and line ratings PE 0.8 to 2.0. Construction is HVF carbon with X45 bias cross-ply, an Air Sensor reel seat and a carbon monocoque rear grip. Daiwa developed the tapers off its boat seabass rods and widened the brief to inner-bay fishing generally: seabass tight to harbor structure and pier shadow lines, casting at surface busts of yellowtail and Spanish mackerel, and soft plastics worked on the bottom for flathead and rockfish. The short lengths follow from how the fishing is done. Casts are made from a moving deck at close range, fish come over the gunwale rather than up a beach, and a rod under 7 ft 6 in stays clear of the rail and of other anglers. The gram and PE ratings used throughout Japanese saltwater lure fishing translate directly: 7 to 35 g is roughly 1/4 to 1 1/4 oz, 10 to 60 g is roughly 3/8 to 2 oz, and PE 1.0 to 2.0 sits around 20 to 30 lb braid.
