This is the core Japanese Tatula bass lineup, sold on daiwa.com/jp and specced for Japanese fields rather than the US Tatula families. Daiwa brought the current generation out in December 2025 with 25 models in baitcasting and spinning, spanning roughly 1.85 to 2.21 m (about 6'1" to 7'3") in both one-piece grip-joint and two-piece center-cut builds.
Blanks step up from the XT line to SVF carbon, a higher-density layup that runs less resin for a thinner, lighter wall at a given power. X45 bias carbon resists twist through the cast and the fight. Two-piece models use V-Joint, a biased carbon sheet across the ferrule that keeps the bend curve continuous through the joint instead of stiffening at the break. Several of the lighter spinning models carry Mega Top, a carbon solid tip that allows a finer, more sensitive tip section. Reel seats are Air Sensor Seat carbon composite, grips are slim Japanese-spec cork, and every model has a hook keeper.
Carbon content across the lineup runs from 56 to 99 percent, the low end being the glass composite models built for cranking and other moving-bait work. Model spread covers light rigs, worm fishing, hard baits and cover work. Bait finesse gets its own designation: the 641LFB-BF is a one-piece baitcaster built for no-sinker and neko rigs, small rubber jigs and small hard baits.
