The Megabass 礁楽 (Shoreluck) is a shore-based saltwater lure rod series made in Japan, made for light to mid-range rock fishing, seabass, and inshore species from shoreline positions. The series name translates roughly as "shore pleasure" or "joy of the rocks," and Megabass's own English copy frames it as "brilliant craftsmanship for the ultimate catch." The target angler is a skilled shore angler working Japanese coastal rock platforms (磯, iso), breakwaters, and sandy beaches with both light finesse presentations and moderately heavy surface plugs and metal jigs.

All blanks are 2-piece construction with stow lengths from 92cm (the compact 5'10" UL model) to 143cm (the 9'2" H surf-class model). Manufacturer weights run 83g to 219g across the spectrum. Per the official spec table, the series uses a handmade blank process at Megabass's Japanese facility. Lure ratings span MAX 5g (SL-510ULS) to MAX 70g (SL-811XXHC); line from MAX 4lb PE 0.4 to MAX 30lb PE 5.0. Actions include EX. FAST, FAST, REGULAR FAST, MEDIUM FAST, and REGULAR, a broader action spread than most single-purpose shore series, reflecting the lineup's species breadth.

The 11 models segment into three functional groups: light finesse/micro fishing (SL-510ULS, SL-72LS, SL-76LS, SL-75MLS, SL-82MLS for MAX 5–16g lures in ML and lighter); mid-range shore casting (SL-72H+S, SL-72MLBF as a baitcaster, SL-71HC casting model for 40–50g lures at PE 2.0–3.0); and heavy shore casting for distance surf work (SL-80XHC, SL-811XXHC, SL-92HS for 40–70g lures at PE 4.0–5.0). SL-72MLBF is the sole casting-style rod in a predominantly spinning lineup.
