PAGANI SERIES
Made-to-order modular custom bass casting rod system for serious JDM enthusiasts
The Megabass PAGANI SERIES is a high-end, made-to-order custom casting rod system built for Japanese freshwater bass fishing. The series descends from founder Yuki Ito's personal workshop practice. Rods hand-built by a small group of elite builders at the Megabass Factory, delivered on order. The system separates grips and blanks: a buyer selects a grip unit, then mounts any blank from the lineup via a twist-lock mechanism. This modular approach is the core identity of Pagani. Target angler: collector-level enthusiast willing to invest time and money in a bespoke setup.
Blanks are designated by a numeric suffix referencing reel capacity class (R100 for smaller reels, P200 and P300 for progressively heavier setups). All three listed models are casting configurations. Construction details are not publicly disclosed at the component level; the rods are known for a balance of refined aesthetic finish and functional casting performance. Specific materials, lengths, and lure ratings for the P200, P300, and R100 rod blanks in the current catalog were not confirmed in available sources.
Historical blank specs from earlier generations (56XP, 60XP, 63XP) should not be applied to current models. Three casting models: R100 (lightest/smallest format), P200 (mid-class), P300 (heaviest class). Spinning options are listed is absent. The numbering implies reel size compatibility as well as blank power progression. All are Japan-domestic production with limited international retail availability.
