Pch Custom Rods

The Okuma PCH Custom series is a 21-model saltwater lineup based on the patented Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement process, which overlays unidirectional fiber on 24-ton carbon in the tip section to add lifting strength without losing sensitivity. UFR-II tip technology and a 3K-woven carbon outer wrap improve hoop strength. The lineup splits into three sub-lines. PCH-C casting models cover 7' to 8' lengths with M through XXXXH power, intended for West Coast yo-yo iron, surface iron, jig stick, and conventional live-bait presentations.

PCH-S spinning rods at 7' cover M through H for inshore and offshore spinning. PCHP-S popping spinning rods at 7'6" target offshore pelagics with poppers and stickbaits. Components include Fuji K-guides with Alconite inserts on M, MH, and H models, ALPS HXH guides with Zirconium inserts on the XH and higher classes, and machined aluminum reel seats. The 7' and 7'6" rods use tapered TPE fore and rear grips.

The 8' rods use tapered shrink-tube grips for durability under hard fights. Target species include yellowtail, yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, white seabass, and GT.
