A compact three-rod Japanese offshore light-game series from Smith Ltd, made for nearshore saltwater species, primarily hairtail (tachiuo), sea bass (seabass/suzuki), and reef fish, in conditions where active jigging, long-cast swimfall, or vertical fishing are required. The series name reflects a focus on lure fall or gravity-based presentations where the jig or lure sinks freely and the bite often occurs on the drop. Built for experienced inshore/offshore specialists comfortable with PE-line setups and lighter drag applications.

All three models are two-piece conventional rods using Japanese-spec quality components. The GRVC-LCT60ML (6ft, ML, 121g) and GRVC-TRS69M (6'9", M, 136g) are casting (baitcasting) models; the GRVS-VAS64M (6'4", M) is spinning. The 6ft ML casting model is specifically noted for "swimming fall" technique with long casts, where the shorter length reduces time lag on short bites such as necktie lures. The 6'9" M casting model suits a different style, likely traditional jigging or heavier lures.
